Foxglove Beardtongue

A flowering plant native to the Mississippi basin, these are relatively easy to grow, and quite showy, with beautiful white flowers that bloom in the summer. Also known as Pestemon Digitalis, these natives enjoy well irrigated soil, and frequent watering when establishing themselves. Once established, at 3-5 feet tall, they can endure an occasional drought or flood.
